Husqvarna has hiked prices of the Svartpilen 250. The 250cc scrambler now costs Rs 1,89,568 (ex-showroom Delhi), a hike of Rs 2,818. Know more details here.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 was launched in the country at an introductory price of Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. Official bookings are open for a token amount ranging between Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 and deliveries will commence from early-March. Husqvarna will sell the bike via select KTM dealerships, which are being upgraded to sell both Huskies and KTMs. Three such dealerships have been inaugurated in Mumbai.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 made its global debut at India Bike Week (IBW). Notable features include an all-LED lighting system, circular all-LCD instrument cluster, raised, braced handlebars, and a luggage rack on the fuel tank. The bike shares the KTM 250 Duke BS6’s 248.8cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 30PS and 24Nm. The motorcycle employs WP Apex inverted front fork and WP Apex rear monoshock. Brakes include disc (320mm and 230mm) on both ends with standard dual-channel ABS. This scrambler-themed motorcycle rides on more rugged MRF RevZ D tubeless tyres on both ends.

It competes with the Duke 250 BS6, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 250. The Svartpilen 250 also takes on the 200 Duke, Dominar 400 in this price bracket.
