AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly predicted how the mid-field teams would perform this weekend, anticipating Ferrari to do well on the low speed corners, McLaren facing some struggle with the same low speed corners when otherwise the McLaren is at home at the higher speed turns, and Alpine benefiting also from their recent updates and moving up the field. This combination of events would make McLaren's life hard, as acknowledged by McLaren driver Lando Norris.

Interestingly, Gasly's prediction seems to match the form of these team after FP1 and FP2!
