Recently we have implemented the packaging method for Hyva oil tanks, gradually with the new product introductions the new, individual packaging in boxes was also implemented. Now it is time to take another step, this is the newer version with use of only eco-friendly, recyclable materials to reduce amount of waste in line with Hyva’s philosophy or carbon footprint reduction, this bulletin is to inform you about this environmental friendly change. At the same time the visual appearance of the boxes is changing, they will be refreshed according to the latest corporate identity standards.

Our new packaging method in a short summary:

- Hyva tanks that will be packed in individual boxes with refreshed logo and visual layout,
- Mounting parts like straps, rubbers, air breathers are added in these boxes wherever needed and possible,
- The polystyrene filling will be replaced with fully recyclable cardboard strips or blocks of special design per tank type,
- The tank body itself will be still packed in a sealed recyclable plastic bag with moisture absorber to secure while all sorts of overseas transportation,
- The visual appearance / logos are based on the newest corporate identity design,
- The overall dimensions of the box may be in many cases reduced compared to the previous method to improve the overall logistic efficiency,
- Product label with part number, QR / bar code in a visible place on the box,
- Related mounting instruction added in the box,

What is the benefit for our customers?

- We seem to be the first on the market paying so much attention for easier, safer and eco-friendly handling for oil tanks,
- Adding all the mounting parts inside the box with the tanks makes the logistic process easier, safer and more efficient at each stage:
1. Delivery to our warehouses – safe arrival of undamaged goods,
2. Handling in the warehouse – no loose components stocked separately,
3. Preparing for shipment – less time needed for packing and securing before shipping out,
4. Safe arrival at the customer – no claims for damaged items in shipment,
5. Handling at the customer installation site – all parts in one box ready to use,
- We seem to be the first on the market paying attention to use recyclable materials for lees carbon footprint,
- Recyclable materials mean less cost for our customers related to their after-production / installation waste handling.
