Dr Grace O'Flanagan (School of Medicine, Class of 2016) and Danielle Mah (School of Physiotherapy, Class of 2008), joined the 'In Conversation With...' alumni panel to discuss the concept of resilience and specifically explore how healthcare professionals can learn from the experiences of those in high-performance sporting environments. ⁣⁣

Dr Grace O’Flanagan has represented Ireland on the world stage in the Hockey World Cup, the World League and European Championships. She is also currently pursuing a career in surgery.⁣⁣

Meanwhile, from a different perspective, Danielle Mah obtained a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2010 and subsequently worked with Bective Rangers, the FAI and as the Head Physiotherapist and Medical Manager for Rugby Canada for seven years.⁣⁣
