Falcon Autosport founder Drew takes his Honda Civic EP3 (SiR) around the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park's 1 Kink Driver Development Track layout for final afternoon session; "push it to the limit, go big and go home."

The car felt really great, the research I put in, asking people and reading forums about how their EP3 handles on certain tire sizes, sway bars, tire compounds and spring rates really worked out. I got to almost exactly what I wanted to have. Check out my pure satisfaction when the car just slides a little bit and I get the turn-in I really want! Thanks to everyone who helped me get it setup exactly where I wanted it to be.

This lap time was a 1:40.58 according to official Ontario Time Attack, which was good enough for third place in T1 class, with a far slower car than you would normally see in T1 class (this engine is very worn out, but I signed up for the series as if it were in mint condition, so I'm not as competitive as possible and that's okay. I'd rather lose fairly than cheat and say an unproven power number and get into T2 class, for example)

Car #951 Ontario Time Attack in T1 class.

Stock K20A3 engine with possible catalytic converter gutting by previous owner, aftermarket catback, Injen warm-air intake, and stock gearbox. 317,000 km of wear and tear means it's down on horsepower.

Suspension: BC Racing BR series coilovers, Megan Racing rear camber arms, Progress Racing 22mm rear sway bar with sway bar mounting bracket-to-subframe reinforcement brace, brand new OEM front control arms and all new OEM outer tie rod ends, 5 lug and bolt swap, Buddy Club P1 extended lower ball joints for roll center correction, and an alignment by Alessandro from Burning Rubber Tire and Speed shop in Oakville with the following specs:

-2.7 degrees front camber
0.08 degrees toe out in front
OEM front and rear caster
-1.4 degrees rear camber (cannot be adjusted due to seized Megan rear camber arms BUT we're happy with our camber readings in the rear as-is anyway, so the seized camber arms will hold the alignment in spec extra well, haha)

Brakes:

Motul RBF600 and Hawk HP+ pads, DIY venting (the splash shields came off so we ripped them out)

Tires and wheels:

Dai Autobahn 17x7.5" alloy wheels with 235/40ZR17 Falken Azenis RT615k+ front tires, 215/45ZR17 Toyo Proxes R1R rear tires

Interior: half-gutted (behind driver's and passenger seat), Sparco steering wheel, with Sparco quick release and NRG steering wheel hub spacer and NRG hub adapter. OEM seating position is revised with steering wheel hub adapter to allow driver to sit further back, to obtain optimal seating position.

Exterior: unmodified except OEM Type R spoiler replacement (previous owner, styling change, no performance benefit) and some LED marker lights.
