The customer booked their car in with us for the timing belt changed on their Peugeot.
It is a wet belt on this 208 1.2 petrol model. This is something we are seeing more and more of now on the more modern cars.
You can see from the condition of the belt that it was well overdue to be changed, as the belt itself was starting to crack and break down.
Once we had the locking pin in place and the bottom tensioners off we were ready to start building it all back up with the new kit.
We put the new tensioners and belt back on. The car also had a full service and some new brakes as well whilst it was in with us.
The customer was really happy to get the car back with everything sorted and ready for plenty more happy motoring miles.
