The Trofeo d'Italia Drifting 2020 which took place in Modena was the only official event of the national drift championship and saw a massive turnout of drivers and amazing cars. The video you see refers to the first of the two days, Saturday, October 17, and contains the highlights of free and official practice. Three categories allowed, Pro, Pro2 and Street Open. The show was high, and I must say that the level of the championship has risen dramatically. Currently, many strong drivers with as many high-performance cars can compete for victory. Also present were some foreign pilots such as the French of Strano Autosport and Gerson Junginger with his BMW e30 V8. We have also seen a massive use of turbos for the engines, many supercharged BMW and Nissan but there was no lack of the other school of thought that sees large American V8s. Also noteworthy is the amazing BMW e46 owned by Lorenzo Fattori and powered by a V10 engine with that unique and unmistakable sound.
