Puerto Rico was nothing what I thought it would be. I assumed the language barrier going into it all was going to be the biggest obstacle to overcome. However that was never truly a problem. With the help of friends translating, and the fact that PR is a US territory, a large amount of the people were bilingual. Once we got past that the entire Island opened up, literately. Everyone we shot with and everywhere we went to film, strangers welcomed us into their homes, villages, and places of work. We were treated like life long friends when we had only met a few hours prior. The cars on the island are something else, but the way we were treated and made welcome by the locals was the greatest part. On top of non stop filming and driving from location to location we were able to squeeze in some fun time here and there with the people we shot with which we'll show in the vlogs. On the day of show seeing a convention center filled with extremely clean cars I had never seen before was also a sight to see. You don't hear much or see much action coming from the island of Puerto Rico online, but man does that need to change. The builds down there are on par with anywhere else in the world + they have to pay higher taxes on importing everything! Also if there's a rotary laying around it wont go unused. The original idea for this film was to be 15-20 mins long but after hearing the story's of everyone we shot with I just couldn't cut them short and wanted to make sure you guys heard their stories and saw their cars. Now here we are with another hour long film, which I'm not mad about at all. I hope you guys enjoy this film and get to experience a culture of cars you maybe weren't aware of before. Thank you to everyone who helped make this film possible and I hope to return back to the Island one day for all play and no work ;).
