I was invited along to Mike's Dyno to film Chad Douglas's awesome Twin Turbo Commodore Ute "2MENTAL" as the team sort through the Tune on this Fuel Injected Methanol burning weapon.

Running a 360 cube LQ9 based engine with Trickflow Heads and Twin 80mm Turbos the car is purpose built for burnouts.

Chad recently switched to a Haltech Computer and Display which has meant an entirely new tune is required. Initial dyno testing prior to Christmas highlighted anelectrical issue with the car which prevented any revs being around 4,500rpm.

Chad and his tuner (Josh) fixed this issue and returned last night to finally get some AFR's sorted. The car is still long way from being 100% as they have now identified a fuel pressure / injector issue which is preventing sufficient fuel under boost.

The decision was made to limit to Boost to 12psi which saw a very conservative 874rwhp, which is more than enough to get some road testing completed at Motorvation this weekend.
